I'm sorry, I realize I was not very clear : there is no debugging
information although I set
$conf['log']['priority'] = PEAR_LOG_DEBUG;

I don't know where to look....
The next step is to go into the source and add extra debugging code, but I
was hoping someone would know why this happens and save me some time.
