I'd really prefer to have it working through /horde/rpc.php for simplicity and
registry integration.

Basically, I was going to implement the main loop/actions from boheme's sync.php
inside RPC_syncml's getResponse() method, and to define API methods in every
app that supports syncing, so that the RPC server would simply query the Horde
Registry to find out if there was a handler for tasks, contacts, events, etc.,
and then make the appropriate API calls for each one.
