It will (eventually) be PHP 5 code - my plan was to write PHP 4-like  
and then update to PHP 5 conventions.  But if you wanted to do it -  
that would be good also because it would give me an overview of what  
has changed between the versions.  But be aware, this code is *very*  
rough so I am wondering if it is wothwhile to do the conversion at  
this time.
