Weren't Hermes and Whups loosely linked previously?

If I remember correctly, hermes got it's job type from whups.  Is
this no longer true or have I missed something in configuration
of one or the other?  Also, were the times shown in whups?

I apologize for such a poor memory and for not having kept up
with hermes and whups development for the last year or so.
