Fatal Error

Hi all,

After following all the installation steps of Hermes, when I try to 
access it, I get the following error:


  A fatal error has occurred


      hermes is not activated


      Details have been logged for the administrator.

In the Horde administration tool, the Hermes status is " Application is 
ready.". I am stuck now, I have no idea where to start looking for the 
problem.
Maybe I did something wrong, but I can't figure out what.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
