new hermes install, 2 fatal errors

Hi,

I just installed Horde 3.0.4 with no problems. I'm now trying to get
Hermes/Whups to work and have run into two issues.

1) On the "Admin" page in Hermes, the following appears on top of the page:

Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 0 in
/var/www/localhost/predis/html/horde/hermes/lib/Admin.php on line 37

Notice: Undefined index: name in
/var/www/localhost/predis/html/horde/hermes/lib/Admin.php on line 37

Then, on the drop down of Job Types all the entries say "(DISABLED)" -- the
interface does let me add job types but they do not appear in the drop down
list (if I check the database, though, they are in fact there)

2) On the "Enter Time" page, the following error appears where the Job Type drop
down should appear:

* Job Type  	An error occurred listing job types: DB Error: mismatch

I assume these two problems are related. Any ideas?
