Does the Export Facilty (after batch closing) do anything?

Thanks to Chuck timesheet manager is now working.

However, there seems to be a problem with the export facility after the 
batch is closed. Is this just a dead end (I noticed a comment in the 
code that seemed to inidcate this.) Pressing the button just
refreshes the page. Or again is there something I am missing?
