account changes: old login, new login

Hello,
it is possible to change some user information [login, home folder,  
first name] who already exist in database?

Example: some lady married and changed her First Name from BBB to CCC  
so the email account must reflect this changes: aaa.bbb@ to aaa.ccc@

Normlaly, I must create a new account and copy all emails from old  
account [old name] to this new account [new name] to have history.
Further more, I must do all settings again for this New account  
although the modifications can be done just in some places on account  
settings.

I remember, I used some time ago an XMPP server from Openfire  
[igniterealtime.org] where they provide this feature called "Married"  
where you put information for old username and for new username and  
changed everything for this account.

I hope it's clear what I mean.
