OK, so there is hope that it might work with a newer version that
incorporates a newer version von SabreDAV. I saw that in another
thread as well

For the time being, since I know it's related to a shared calendar: Is
there a way to restrict a certain user from seeing a calendar, even
though that calendar is shared with "All Authenticated Users" (and
guests)? In other words, is there a way to add "negative" ACLs? Maybe
through some sort of hook? I already tried adding an entry with all
checkboxes unchecked for a certain user, but that kind of entry does
not even get saved, and when entering such sharing settings directly
into the database, is does not have any effect.
