question - quota

Dear mimp list,

Apologies if this is the wrong list or if the answer is available on 
the site..I couldn't see it there.

My horde inbox is full and I want to trash messages, and to do so I 
have been trying to empty my trash. Both result in the error message:

There was an error moving messages to the trash. This is what the 
server said: <i>UID COPY failed: Message copy failed: Disk quota 
exceeded</i>

Is there a way I can either have my disk quota temporarily enlarged so 
that I can delete messages, or else get my trash emptied? It is 
currently set as being emptied once a day, which it apparently does on 
log in, but this error has been happening for a few days.

This happens in Safari and IE.  I am using Mac OS X..but also happens 
on windows ME.
