mimp login problem

Hello,

I'm setting up horde HEAD as a 2nd installation of horde at my site to run
mimp as the default login for my mobile users.  I've gotten to the point
where everything seems right (I setup imp as the default login handler first
to check everything and it ran fine), but the mimp login fails with the
following errors:

...in horde.log:

FAILED LOGIN 127.0.0.1 to my.domain.com:143[imap] as Andy [on line 219 of
"/var/www/html/horde/mimp/lib/MIMP.php"]

....and in my bincimap server log:

authentication failed: wrong userid or password

Both the 2.2.5 and HEAD versions of imp login fine to my IMAP server. My imp
server.php IMAP settings are equivalent but fail.  I've tried regenerating
the conf.php files for the entire HEAD setup (the "fix" for the only other
instance of this problem I could find in the list archives), but that didn't
help.

Any suggestions on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated, thx.
