I would first like to pay my compliments to Neil Sequeira for his work
with the spamd_ldap driver for SAM. Great Work!
In light of these efforts, I discovered an interesting blurb on the
Amavisd-new site to the effect of SAM now being able to interface with
Amavisd-new.
Horde SAM (by Max Kalika)
is a per-user SpamAssassin, whitelist and blacklist manager which
now has native support for amavisd-new policies and attributes
stored in an SQL server
Is this true? If so, how difficult might it be to create an ldap driver
with amavisd-new's bundled ldap capability?
If it is capable and an amavisd_ldap driver can be developed for it; I
think it would give the SAM project an excellent boost.
Respectfully,
Gary
