passwd : class horde_registry not found

Hello

I installed the passwd module.
Testing it via test.php (under passwd directory) looks fine without any error.
So apparently configuration is fine.

However as I use password application via Horde menu I receive:

Fatal error: Class 'Horde_Registry' not found in  
/var/www/horde-3.3.4/passwd/lib/base.php on line 29


notes:

-- line 29 contain:
$registry = Horde_Registry::singleton();

-- versions are:
horde-3.3.4
imp-h3.4.3.4
passwd H4 (4.0-cvs)
