Passd and Dovecot : authentication management

Hello,

I'm using Dovecot and Horde + IMP + Passwd.
Dovecot authentication is configured via MySQL database.

I should configure the Passwd backend to use this MySQL table ?
So Dovecot and Passwd will share the same MySQL contening users  
authentication informations. Correct ?

Thanks for confirmation or correction.

Versions are:

horde-3.3.4
imp-h3-4.3.4
passwd-h3-3.1.1
