The client I use on my mobile is remosync of Remoba (thanks Mike for the tests).
Here is the setup of the account I try to create :
Server Address : horde5.domain  //By default EAS  (Remosync) redirect to  http://horde5.domain/Microsoft-Active-Server   (the reason of the Alias if I do understand)
 Require SSL  : No so that to avoid issues with CA
User : gbreiner
Password: ******
Email Address : [email protected]

From the mobile I get "Account Setup Client does not support the protocol version" 
From the server :
    tail -100 hordesync_access_log
