Contact list syncing problems

Dear All,

I'm running Horde_ActiveSync 2.19.0 with Horde Webmail 5.2.2 and I  
can't get contact lists to sync to mobile devices.

I'm using an LDAP backend for my user/contact storage and IMP works  
perfectly with respect to auto-completing contact lists from the LDAP  
source, but the ActiveSync clients on my Android phone ('Nine' and the  
stock email app from Samsung) do not.

I have included the LDAP addressbook in my user addressbook  
preferences, and tried the option 'support seperate address books' to  
no avail. I have 3 address books in total I'd like to sync to my  
mobile device, all of which are selected in my syncronisation  
preferences:
Personal Address Book (LDAP)
Global Contact Lists (LDAP)
Global Users (LDAP)

I've also got contact lists in my Personal Address Book which are not  
getting pushed to my device.

Is there any special set up required to get contact lists syncing?
