Hello,
I have a working horde installation and I decided to install troll to
be able to read the news from my provider.
I have set up the sql backend and the prefs as shown:
/* CONFIG START. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN OR AFTER THIS LINE. */
// $Horde: troll/config/conf.xml,v 1.5 2004/02/09 21:39:56 slusarz Exp $
$conf['menu']['apps'] = array('gollem', 'horde', 'imp', 'ingo',
'klutz', 'kronolith', 'logout', 'mnemo', 'nag', 'trean', 'turba');
$conf['news']['server'] = 'news.auna.com';
$conf['news']['mailserver'] = 'localhost';
$conf['news']['subscribe'] = true;
$conf['compose']['organization'] = 'goto20.com';
/* CONFIG END. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN OR BEFORE THIS LINE. */
everything aim to be right but when I click in the troll icon a blank
screen appears loading continously until I have a timeout error. I
suppose this error is generated because troll is trying to download all
the channels (perhaps we are talking about several thousands of them!)
so it takes too much time and that is the cause of the timeout error
IMHO
So what can I do to solve this problem... what have you done? Is there
any way, for example via cron, to update the chanels?
thanks and regards
