updating the state of a ticket

Hi. after a complete cvs HEAD update, I can't change the state of a ticket anymore, after submitting the update page gets reloaded but the state remains at it was (e.g. "assigned" instead iof "resolved"). Has this something to do with the new updateTicket API call?
