I had no need to compile anything from source, I just used sudo apt-get install python-wxgtk2.6 and have no problems. Otherwise yeah, ubuntu has almost no source packages, it's a bit of pain to look for the 'dev' packages sometimes. As far as the window layout, just adjust it manually, then Windows -> all window dimensions -> save That's it! Cheers 2007/9/24, Werner F.
