For me when starting it from within Boa it comes it half on my main 
monitor and the other half on the second monitor.

But I don't see anything which explains why it is max/min'ed on Win2000. 
  Maybe your problem is linked with the with the pos definition for the 
wxFrame, i.e. make it something which will always be on the primary (or 
only) monitor.
