Fernando,

I don't see what the type of control self.intCtrlCode or self.textCtrlName is but you might have one of two problems.  Some controls require a refresh to cause the window/control to repaint the updated data.  self.intCtrlCode.Refresh() should do the trick for the first one.  To check for this problem, put another window on top of yours and then bring yours to the front, did the control update?  If so, a refresh is what is needed.

If that doesn't do it, we'll try something else. ;)
