You changed the Boa generated line which tells it what type of file it is. #Boa:Frame:Frame1 #Boa:FramePanel:Panel1 So, if you remove this or change it to e.g. #Boa:FramePanelxx:Panel1 and save the file, then on next reopen this is just a standard Python script file as far as Boa is concerned and the designer will not be available.
