Category: Debugger Group: None >Status: Closed Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Robert Kraske (robekras) Summary: DGB Debugger and Debugger core symlink inconsistancies Initial Comment: On Linux (and possibly other platforms) PHPEclipse/DGB will fail to start remote debugging on files which are symlinks. I used ngrep to examine the messages being sent between PHPEclipse and discovered that the problem is that DGB translates symlinks to their actual values before transmitting them to the debugger in PHPEclipse, PHPEclipse doesn't translate symlinks to actual files however. If PHPEclipse opens the file via a symlink the external dgb debugger cannot be invoked on that file because PHPEclipse won't recognise that the file being debugged is the file which is being edited. My PHPEclipse Debug core version is 1.1.2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 2006-09-12 19:20 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1312539 This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. Since PHPeclipse 1.1.8 more then one translation mapping can be specified. The user manual (under work) should give the info about the 'how to do'. Please test again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=484801&aid=1151928&group_id=57621 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
