Any and every CMS/Framework involves a learning curve. The steepness of
the curve is what really matters.

I didn't wade in and decide to change anything. The decision was made
after consulting both Axel and Bananeweizen. Not to mention there has
been an ongoing thread on the mailing for the past month. In my opinion
its a good idea to renew the brand of a product ever couple years.
Otherwise it gets old and stale. PHPEclipse has had the same logo since
I began using it back in the day. IMHO and the others that I have
chatted with it is time for something new and fresh. As someone in
#phpeclipse pointed out the current logo is pretty much a ripoff of the
Eclipse logo. The PHPEclipse logo should stand out and be unique at the
same time it should have a hint of familiarity.

PostgreSQL is FREE! Don't really know what you mean by "does not support
the FREE database engine"
