Summary: VPN Mounted Remote Disk

Initial Comment:
When using a remotely mounted disk while connected to
VPN, it is very slow when you open a project with a
good amount of files. If you open a project with a lot
of files not only does it take forever however
sometimes it will stop responding until you force the
app to close. I have tested this 10 times on mac os x
10.4.7 and it seemed to freeze 4 out of the 10 times,
and the rest of the time would take upwards of 10
minutes to open the project.

Using VPN or any remote disk is not recommended. Eclipse itself writes
allot of data to disk about your current working session. Each save that
you do will result in data being written. This is for the compare to and
replace with options. It is better to use either
http://www.eclipse.org/dsdp/tm/ or use ftp/sftp sync tools.

I am closing this bug.
