When installing PHPeclipse 1.1.8 with automated installation, it fails with the message: Unable to complete action for feature "PHPeclipse" due to errors. Unable to create file "/usr/lib/eclipse-3.1/plugins/net.sourceforge.phpdt.smarty.ui_1.1.8/cpl-v10.html". [/usr/lib/eclipse-3.1/plugins/net.sourceforge.phpdt.smarty.ui_1.1.8/cpl-v10.html (No such file or directory)] Unable to create file "/usr/lib/eclipse-3.1/plugins/net.sourceforge.phpdt.smarty.ui_1.1.8/cpl-v10.html". [/usr/lib/eclipse-3.1/plugins/net.sourceforge.phpdt.smarty.ui_1.1.8/cpl-v10.html (No such file or directory)] Looks like it's trying to create a file where it's not permitted. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Edward Mann (emann) Date: 2007-05-08 14:18 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=430467 Originator: NO Closing this. Directory permission problem. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Craig Lawson (claw11) Date: 2006-06-06 00:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=360982 Sorry, I forgot to mention. I had changed my plug-in directory to $HOME/eclipse-plugins The plug-in is not respecting my selection. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Lukas Zapletal (lzap) Date: 2006-06-05 16:35 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=30689 Not a bug, you have to change your plugin directory to a writeble one. Or change permissions of /usr/lib/eclipse-3.1/ plugins to 777. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=484801&aid=1500309&group_id=57621 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
