Initial Comment:
In the code templates for empty HTML elements such as BR and INPUT, there is no space before the slash.

This will pass the W3C's validator, although it is not best practice as it does not conform to the XHTML spec:

Definitions for these templates are in the file
net.sourceforge.phpeclipse.ui/templates/default-templates.xml

The attached patch solves this issue.
