Ok, I do believe that the other chap was using a *nix OS... I was more 
interested to see if the vendor was one other than Sun; so you should be 
fine with that.

If you haven't already, there do seem to be quite a few Google hits on 
this... https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=236132 looked to 
be a similar error.  You may also want to try re-adding the nightly 
update site, just in case it's something in p2.
