Bugs item #701270, was opened at 2003-03-10 20:47 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=459328&aid=701270&group_id=50321 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Fernando Gomes (fgomes) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Projects not allowed out of workspace Initial Comment: Spindle insists to work on project inside workspace folder even if you select another path at project creation. In fact, if you do that, Spindle does not create the project objects at all! If you create the project using the default workspace folder and after exports it to somewhere else, you may think you are working under another directory tree but... in fact... Spindle are working under default workspace and you may get confused with both directory trees that becomes different. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Geoffrey Longman (glongman) Date: 2003-03-12 16:38 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=387057 Seems odd as Spindle only uses the resource abstractions provided by Eclipse. i.e. Spindle never resolves the IResources to thier underlying filesystem equivalents. So, one would expect that if the project is rooted outside of the workspace, everything should work ok. Alas, this will go unfixed until the next version of Spindle (with support for Tapestry 2.4) comes along. For now I would suggest working only with Spindle inside the Eclipse workspace. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=459328&aid=701270&group_id=50321 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by:Crypto Challenge is now open!
