Hi. I'd like to make a proposal that would change the scope of the Spindle project. My proposal is that the Spindle project changes from being an Eclipse plugin for Tapestry to a common framework for Tapestry plugins also hosting(or not) the corresponding plugins for each IDE(much like the mevenide project). I think this would be of great interest for everyone. The idea would be to produce a common library that would be used by all Tapestry plugin developers, i'm sure that this would increase the number of Tapestry plugins. After looking at some of Spindle code i've come to realize that this change would be no easy task, all spindle code is tightly coupled with the eclipse API. Of course it's up to you Geoff, if you agree with this, to evaluate the effort and set the right timing for this. What do you think ? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Do you grep through log files for problems? Stop!
