Got contrib through tonight, without error.

This is actually a bad thing. There's no way this should have happened.

Turns out I modified the scanner (a long time ago) to conform very
closely to all of the T4 idiosyncrasies. Too bad I have to rip some
out.

On a positive note I did have to fix quite a few bugs to get this far.
