I sit here in the office at midnight, as I have for 6 of the last 7
days, overseeing a product release and coordinating said release with
Dublin, SF, and Bangalor. During lulls I have been thinking about the
last bits of the core that need to be completed so we can get to Core
Alpha 1.

The majors issues are:

1) Rebuild the State object that's built by the core. Hugo *needs*
this for the core to be useful. Currently it's a package protected
class that needs to be made public. The other issue is one of keys.
Most of the data in the state is accessed by key. In Spindle 4T3 the
keys were resources. That owrked out great for the builder but makes
ui programming a pain in the arse.

Since I have added a Object getUnderlier() method to ICoreResource I'm
thinking of switching the State to use those objects as keys instead.
That means the keys must have valid equals() and hashcode() methods.

Seems like an ok idea. Trying to shoot holes in it before I code it
up, probably Friday night

2) The Contrib framework of Tapestry needs to be tweaked. Since
Spindle will not support a few T4 features it's pretty important that
Contrib not use them. Frameowrk is aleady clean. Making a list of ,
and performing these changes in the 4.0.3 branch of Tapestry is not a
lot of work...just need some time.
