Does it mean this will be added to the next EMX release if there
is anything like "a next EMX release"?

What's your opinion about the future of EMX, especially in the light
of the ongoing discussion about usage of Posix/2 to get more Posix
functions working on OS/2 out of the box? I.e. do you plan to update
EMX or to incorporate fixes/new features provided by other people?
What's your opinion about adding new functions to EMX like C99
stuff (wide characters) or full locale support for EMX itself (toupper()
instead of _nls_toupper()) or some (more or less) famous Posix functions?

Bye,
Andreas
