Constraint_Error in GPS 2.1.0w (20040919) hosted on i686-pc-linux-gnu GNAT 3.4.2

Problem: GPS crashes, GPS goeing away, with following error message.

Message: project_viewers.adb:963 access parameter is null

Reproducing The Problem:
1. Open an existing project such as sdc.gpr after gps is started.
2. Select Project -> Edit Project Properties
3. Select OK to close this window
4. Select Project -> New... GPS goes away with the error message shown
above.
