This will only cause trouble for a particular set of sources, so if
you could assemble a self-contained reproducer that would be great.

Also, I asusme you did other operations before that, such as generating the
xref for your project, and possibly other operations that may have an influence
on this problem, so please make sure to start from a clean environment and
a new gps when reporting your scenario, thanks.
