Well, I hate to be a Grinch but I still can't debug with it while 
running on a Fedora Core 3 machine.  The reason given is

/dev/ptypd:  No such file or directory

Program exited with code 01
You can't do that without a process to debug.


A command "ls /dev/pty*"  returns nothing.  Asking questions on 
fedoraforum.org has brought no answers and the same asking on 
comp.os.linux.misc.  This really isn't an ACT problem but I expect 
you'll have plenty of users on FC 3.
