4.0.0w Snapshot fails to launch on RH 8.0

The recent GPS 4.0.0w snapshot fails to due to missing library as shown in the error message below.

bash-2.05b$ /home/voax/linux/gps-snapshot/bin/gps_exe: error while loading shared libraries: libXrandr.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Note that it works fine on RH 9.0.
