Hello,

Komodo IDE/Edit 7.0.0 Beta 2 is now available. The 'Help -> Check for
Updates...' in Komodo 7.0.0 Beta 1 will recognize the new version, but
will fail to apply the new updates, so we recommend uninstalling Beta 1
and then installing Beta 2. You can download this release through the link below:

Changes in Komodo 7.0.0b2 include the following:

     * Memory usage is now available via the "Help | Troubleshooting"
       menu.

And this release includes the following significant bug fixes:

     * Find & Replace over modified buffers now works as expected.

When doing Find or Replace actions over a set of files, if any of
the target files correspond to loaded modified buffers, Komodo will
make work with the buffer instead of the file.

     * Lost/duplicate keystrokes in the editor have been found.

This bug was triggered when a context-menu was displayed in the
     editor window.

     * Git integration uses less memory and CPU.

     * Subversion integration supports version 1.7.

     * Support for remote projects via the Project Properties' "Base
Directory" set with the "Browse Remote" button has been reinstated.

     * Editor tabs and Places entries can now be dragged and dropped
onto project and group icons in the Projects Panel.

     * Fullscreen support on OSX has been reinstated.

     * In HTML end-tags are now automatically inserted when a start-tag
is completed. This can be controlled via the unexposed
       preference "codeintelAutoInsertEndTag"; this macro:

       ko.prefs.setBooleanPref("codeintelAutoInsertEndTag", false)

would turn this behavior off globally.

     * The Stackato interface now displays progress on long-running
commands in its own window, and not in the main Komodo Command
       Output window.

The Komodo IDE 7.0 beta builds can be trialed by anyone (you don't need to hold a Komodo IDE license).

Komodo 7.0.0 final will be released some time next year (in 2012); we'll continue releasing additional Komodo 7 beta builds every 4-5 weeks until that time.
