Hello,

Komodo IDE 7.0.0 Alpha 4 (pre-release) builds are now available. For
existing Komodo 7 users, use the '/Help -> Check for Updates.../' menu
to update, else you can download this release through the link below:

    http://www.activestate.com/komodo-ide/downloads

The most prominent changes in Komodo IDE 7.0.0a4 are:

    * *Code Profiling*

    Komodo now provides the ability to profile an application in order
    to see code hotspots. Initially we've only added Python code
    profiling, though we'll continue to add other languages before
    Komodo 7.0 final. Komodo can also open Cachegrind/Callgrind profile
    files, which is a common format used for storing code profiling
    information.

    * *Fast Find
      *

    A new interactive find widget has been added to the Komodo editor,
    which will speed up the time taken to search within documents. The
    Ctrl+F (Cmd+F) keybinding will now bring up a small textbox at the
    bottom of the editor view where you can type the text you wish to
    search for. The searching is done incrementally as you type, so
    you'll see matches instantly.

    * *Less and SCSS language support*

    Less and SCSS (formerly Sass) are CSS extension languages that make
    working with CSS easier! With the support for variables, nesting,
    mix-ins and helper methods, CSS coding has never been easier. Komodo
    provides syntax coloring, error checking and code intelligence for
    both of these languages.

The Komodo IDE 7.0 alpha builds can be trialed by anyone (you don't need
to hold a Komodo IDE license). We expect to have Komodo 7.0.0 final
released some time next year (in 2012); we'll continue releasing
additional Komodo 7 alpha and beta builds every 4-8 weeks until that
time. If you wish to contact us about Komodo 7, please use one of the
