Re: Komodo IDE and Edit 5.0.2 released

I tried to install Komodo IDE 5.0.2
on RHEL 4.4 and got the following error:

./INSTALLDIR/lib/python/bin/python2.6:
/lib/tls/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ./INSTALLDIR/lib/python/bin/../lib/libpython2.6.so.1.0)

I saw a note somewhere that the codebase
was updated to Mozilla 1.9, which has higher library requirements, and
the note mentioned i.e. Firefox 3. I downloaded the Komodo 5 installer
using Firefox 3.0.2 running on the same machine that I tried to install
on. So I presume, perhaps incorrectly, that Mozilla 1.9 is part of
Firefox 3.0.2, so I'm not sure that I understand the issue.

Komodo 5.0.2 has now been released. You can use Komodo's
auto-update

menu "Help->Check for Updates...", or you can download it
directly from
