Re: PPM can't access ppm4.log and perltoc.html

I'm now back from my short break but I'm away again today, this time for two
weeks, so won't be able to respond to anything until I get back.

I've been doing some more experimenting but things are still not quite
right. The ppm4.log is now recording and I'm no longer getting any error
messages about the perltoc.html file (in the ..../ActivePerl-5.8/html
folder). For the two recent modules I've installed, running PPM from the
Terminal - CGI-Session and File-DirCompare - it showed that it had produced
Session.html and DirCompare.html files. However when I looked for these
files I found that while there were entries in
~/Library/ActivePerl/html/site/lib/CGI and /File the html files were empty.
Also I assumed that PPM would have a link to the html files in perltoc.html
but there were no entries there.

Incidentally sorry for top posting. I was going to try and rearrange all the
messages but decided against this as it might cause more confusion.
