Hi Anton, I saw the shared toolbox, but didn't try it because the documentation indicated that it was the _last_ place searched for abbreviations. Therefore it seemed that I would never get my modified abbreviations. Here is the relevent help text: When Ctrl+T is entered, Komodo searches for relevant snippets in the current project, the toolbox, and the shared toolbox (in that order). Komodo checks the language-specific sub-directory and the General sub-directory in each of these places. For example, if you are editing a Python module, these snippet directories will be checked in this order: 1. Abbreviations/Python folders in: Current Project Toolbox Shared Toolbox 2. Abbreviations/General folders in: Current Project Toolbox Shared Toolbox Thanks for the idea though. -Tom Notice The information in this message is confidential and may be legally privileged. I have used this for years and it doesn't get affected by upgrades. cheers, Anton On Mon, Jul 13, 2009 at 11:40 AM, Tom SAVELL<[email protected]> wrote: > > I have modified some of the language-specific abbreviations included with > Komodo (I have also added some new ones).
