Re: VSS and Komodo IDE

Hi, Bob,

This request comes up once a year or so, and there are still no plans to support
Visual SourceSafe.  We realize there are various reasons organizations
continue to use this tool, and as far as I can tell Microsoft is still
supporting it.  However it doesn't fit in with Komodo's mission
to support cross-platform development with open languages.

I'm also not aware of any developers that are building an extension to
support it.  It is definitely possible, but given that probably most
VSS users are using Visual Studio, I don't see it likely to happen.
