two questions

I have a Mac Book Pro and have with "Komodo IDE, version 5.2.2, build 
35694, platform macosx-x86. Built on Thu Oct 29 15:04:25 2009."

I've used Komodo for a long time mostly on a Windows platform. I'm 
having a couple of issues and hope that someone has seen these before.

First, every time I start Komodo, I get this

     Preloading code intelligence database. This process
     will improve the speed of the first time auto complete and
     call tips. This typically takes less than a minute.


Second, I can't seem to get Komodo to recognize that I have files under 
Perforce control. I have "Perforce" turned on in the Preferences under 
SCC. I added Environment variables P4CLIENT & P4PORT but the options to 
"SSC Checkout" doesn't list P4 as one of the options. The only other 
option is "Source Code Control: Add". That yields the following messages:

	Failed: No parent directory is under SCC control

On the file tab, the only non-grayed option is to "Add". I can't seem to 
clue Komodo in that these files are in a P4 workspace.
