Hi Gary,

Try setting the P4 environment settings (P4PORT and P4CLIENT) in the Mac 
OS X environment (instead of the Komodo environment preferences panel).

Note: I've logged a bug on this, as Komodo should be using your 
"Environment" preferences when running p4 commands:
