Many Thanks Todd. That was my issue as well. I have P4 in my path and 
just assumed that Komodo had it too. Specifying the exact path turned 
the trick.

I do wish Komodo could tell me that it couldn't find the executable 
instead of the obtuse messages it produced :)


I also did the /etc/hostconfig trick and that fixed the other problem 
too. I VPN into a couple places and every time I did my HOSTNAME changed.
