Hi, I recently upgraded my laptop to Ubuntu 10.04 and am having trouble debugging PHP. The debugger starts and runs, but it does not show me the values of any variables when I'm stepping through code. I used PECL to update the XDebug extension, and that's what appears to be broken -- is there a better place to get the xdebug.so file, or some compile flag I need to pass in when creating it to get it to work? The client stuff all works fine -- remote debugging still works. It's just running the debugger against a local web server on my updated computer. Any ideas?
