Migrating from Komodo 5 to Komodo 6

I've been using Komodo 5 up until now as I had problems with the way that 6 dealt with projects. I have several temporary files in
the folder that holds the live ones and I don't want these temporary ones to show up in my project. Since 6 now uses live folders
exclusively I couldn't find a way of doing this. The answer perhaps would be for me to remove them into a separate folder but I took
the easy way out and stuck with 5.

I'd now like to have a shot at using Komodo 6, particularly now that 7 is on the horizon. However I find that 6 now can't read the
komodoproject files that I think were produced from the old project files when I first tried to use 6. Is there some way I can
reconstitute these komodoproject files without having to do this from scratch?
