It looks kind of Perlish, but if you map .vcf files to the Perl
language, Komodo will invoke the Perl compiler and annoy you with
its syntax-checking indicators.

It looks like this would be an easy language to build a UDL for, and you'd
get good auto-indenting and code-folding for free.  But in the meantime
I would choose Perl and turn off syntax-checking on a per-document basis.
You could even write a post-open-file trigger macro to automate that.
