Re: Komodo 8.0.0-beta1 is now available to preview

It's true that moving the scrollbar doesn't reposition the cursor on most c=
ommon GUI apps
I looked at, on all three platforms.  Pressing PageUp or PageDown is differ=
ent, because
you're also moving the cursor (and I noticed that using the scrollbar does =
reposition
the cursor in Emacs, but a quick exchange-mark-and-point puts you back at t=
he location
before scrolling started).

We have been looking at ways to use the minimap to reposition the cursor in=
 one mode,
and just preview another area in another.  It's still early days.
